Obama Heads To Asia To Assure Allies

(Washington, DC) -- President Obama is on his way to Asia with plans to assure allies of America's commitment to their welfare. The President plans to focus on security and economic ties with Japan, South Korea, Malaysia and the Philippines. Obama's trip comes as China continues to assert territorial control in Asia. The President also will hold a town hall meeting with young people from dozens of countries at the University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur.
