(Undated) -- President Obama is letting Hamid Karzai know that he'll complete a security agreement with the Afghan president's successor. Obama phoned Karzai from Air Force One today after departing Afghanistan. A White House official says the two leaders discussed progress that had been made by Afghan security forces. Obama also promised Karzai that he would inform him about his decision on how many American troops will remain in the country after 2014 before making it public. Obama made a surprise visit to Afghanistan today to visit U.S. troops.
