Obama Brings Federal Aid To Drought-Stricken California

(Los Banos, CA) -- President Obama is bringing millions of dollars in federal aid to drought-stricken California. Visiting a farm in the central part of the state, the President noted that California is the largest agricultural producer in the U.S. California Governor Jerry Brown recently declared a state of emergency as California grapples with a water crisis that threatens to be the worst in state history. President Obama will also ask Congress to put up one-billion dollars for a new program aimed at helping communities cope with climate change.
