(Los Banos, CA) -- President Obama is bringing help to drought-stricken California with millions of dollars federal aid. Visiting a farm in the central part of the state, the President noted that California is the largest agricultural producer in the U.S. He warned that all Americans could feel the drought through higher food prices. California Governor Jerry Brown recently declared a state of emergency as his state grapples with a water crisis that threatens to be the worst in state history. President Obama said he will also ask Congress to put up one-billion dollars for a new program aimed at helping communities cope with climate change.
