NYC Cabs Could Soon Show Photos Of Missing People

(New York, NY) -- New York City taxis could soon use their TV screens to show images of missing people. Bronx Councilman Jimmy Vacca has introduced a bill that would require Taxi TVs to show police photos. He says the technology is already in place and could help save lives. Vacca says he was inspired by the disappearance of Avonte Oquendo, the autistic teen who went missing last year from his Queens school. His remains washed up three months later along a nearby shore.
