Northeast Braces For Major Winter Storm
(Boston, MA) -- The Northeast is bracing for its second major winter storm this week. Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick is asking residents to avoid travel with blizzard conditions expected tonight from the North Shore through Boston.
Coastal areas will be hit especially hard with heavy snow and winds gusting over 50 miles per hour. Transportation officials say the plows won't be able to keep up. More than a foot of snow expected overnight in parts of southeastern Massachusetts.
