No Immediate Ruling In Hernandez Case
(Fall River, MA) -- The defense is asking that a murder charge against former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez be dropped. Defense attorney James Sultan argued yesterday that there is no evidence that links Hernandez to Odin Lloyd's murder in June of last year.
Prosecutors countered that they have compelling evidence. A Massachusetts Superior Court judge did not issue an immediate ruling on the motion to dismiss. A tentative trial date for the former New England Patriots player is set for early October.
