Nintendo Won't Commit To Naming Game Character After Robin Williams
(Undated) -- Nintendo isn't saying whether it will name a video game character after Robin Williams. The world's biggest video game maker responded over the weekend to a petition signed by thousands of gamers. They want an upcoming edition of Nintendo's "Legend of Zelda" game to include a character named after the award-winning actor and comedian who died of an apparent suicide last week. Williams was a hugely enthusiastic video game player and his daughter Zelda is named for the title character of "Legend of Zelda."
