(Tokyo) -- The president of Nintendo says the company will not release its games for play on smartphones despite dismal 2013 financial results. At a briefing today, the company's president said that Nintendo would continue to stand by its Wii hardware platform rather than make games directly available for use on smartphones and tablets. The company is also planning a device to help monitor health, though no specifics were given on what it might be. The briefing disappointed investors, as Nintendo stock dropped over four percent after it ended.
