(Washington, DC) -- A Republican lawmaker is proposing a bill that would cut off Attorney General Eric Holder's pay.

The "Contempt Act" was introduced this week by Congressman Blake Farenthold. The legislation is aimed at keeping federal officials from collecting their salaries while held in contempt of Congress. Holder has been held in contempt since 2012 for withholding key information on Operation Fast and Furious.
