NBA Analysts, Hollywood React To Clippers Controversy
Sunday, April 27
(Los Angeles, CA) -- NBA legends Magic Johnson and Charles Barkley are among the many speaking out on a recording that purports to have captured Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling making racist remarks.
On TNT's NBA Sprint Halftime Report Saturday, Barkley called for Sterling's immediate suspension. Johnson, whose name crops up in the recording released by TMZ, tweeted earlier that he would never attend another Clippers game so long as Sterling remains owner. The NBA is investigating the recording on which Sterling can allegedly be heard arguing with his girlfriend about her relationships with African-Americans.
