(Undated) -- NASA engineers are worried about a "zombie" spacecraft they're tracking. They aren't concerned it might come to Earth. They're worried it will spin off into space, never to be heard from again. The spacecraft is the International Sun/Earth Explorer, which was launched into orbit around the moon in 1978. Engineers at NASA's Ames Research Center in the San Francisco Bay Area are now working to make contact and put the spacecraft back to work. NASA shut it down 15 years ago because of tight budgets.
