Multiple Homes Catch Fire In Carlsbad Wildfire
(Carlsbad, CA) -- A number of homes in Carlsbad, California are in flames as at least three wildfires burn in San Diego County. The Carlsbad fire has resulted in evacuation orders going out to more than eleven-thousand people. Cal Fire crews are working feverishly to keep the flames away from more homes in this oceanside community about 35 miles north of San Diego. Helicopters continue to swoop in and dump water on the flames near the El Camino Real highway. Winds are fueling the Carlsbad fire which has forced the evacuation of at least three schools.
