More Protests Over Migrant Transfers In California Town

(Murrieta, CA) -- Demonstrators are awaiting the arrival of a new busload of migrants expected to arrive in the Southern California town of Murrieta. At least five people have been arrested as scuffles broke out between the two groups of protestors and supporters. Protestors successfully blocked buses carrying 140 migrants Tuesday. The are angry about the federal transfer of detained migrants to the Border Patrol center in their town located northeast of San Diego. Counterprotestors are defending the immigrants right to due process and say they should be helped.
