Mom, Grandparents Freed On Bond After Arrest In Starvation Case
(Greenville, PA) -- Three residents of Greenville, Pennsylvania, are free on bond after being arrested for allegedly starving and beating a seven-year-old boy. The "Tribune-Review" reports that detectives say the boy weighed about 20 pounds and looked like a Holocaust victim. The suspects in the case are the boy's 28-year-old mother and her parents. The boy's older sisters are in good health, while his older brother is a little underweight. The seven-year-old had reportedly resorted to hunting down insects for food. The suspects in the case are due in court on July 30th.
