(Charlotte, NC) -- An American missionary who was stricken with Ebola will speak publicly for the first time about her recovery. Nancy Writebol will host a news conference this morning in Charlotte at the campus of missionary organization SIM USA. The 59-year-old contracted the deadly virus while helping out at a clinic in the West African country of Liberia. Writebol was given an experimental drug and flown home to the United States for further treatment in isolation at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
