Minneapolis, St. Paul Cancel Schools Due To Cold

(Minneapolis, MN) -- It's a day off for most school kids in the Twin Cities. Minneapolis and St. Paul public schools both announced Sunday afternoon there would be no classes today due to the weather. The Twin Cities are under a wind chill warning until noon Tuesday from the National Weather Service. With gusting and blowing, wind chill readings are likely to be between 40 and 50 degrees below zero into Tuesday. Today's high in the Twin Cities is nine-below zero, with an expected overnight low of 20-below.
