Militia Member Sentenced For Plot To Blow Up Police Station
(St. Paul, MN) -- A terrorist plot to blow up a police station, attack a National Guard armory and local radio tower in Sherburne County has resulted in a prison term for Buford Rogers. He was arrested last May following a tip to the FBI that he was about to put the plot into motion in Montevideo. The "Minneapolis Star Tribune" reports Rogers pled guilty in January to weapons possession charges and was sentenced yesterday to three years and four months behind bars, with credit for one year already served.
