(Washington, DC) -- A former Navy football player is not guilty of sexual assault. That's the verdict from a judge in a court martial for Joshua Tate of Nashville, who originally was accused, along with two teammates, of sexually assaulting a female midshipman at an off-campus party in 2012. Charges were dropped against the other two men before they could be put on trial. The Naval Academy is still considering disciplinary actions against Tate for lying to investigators.
