McCain: U.S. Must Do Whatever's Necessary Following Journalist's Murder
(Undated) -- Senator John McCain is calling for action in the wake of the brutal beheading of an American freelance journalist. The Arizona Republican says President Obama needs to do more than just talk about the death of James Foley, he needs to make ISIS pay for it. Senator McCain says he disagrees with Obama's statement that the U.S. needs to "contain" ISIS. Instead, he says we should be doing "whatever is necessary" to defeat ISIS wherever it exists. Multiple media sources are reporting the man who killed Foley is a British national who goes by the name John.
