(Minneapolis, MN) -- Minneapolis Mayor Betsy Hodges is calling on residents to dig out fire hydrants in front of their homes. The city requires residents to keep their sidewalks and walkways to their homes and businesses clear of snow. Hodges notes the city's fire department will be greatly helped by people to take the extra time to dig out the hydrants as well. There are over eight-thousand fire hydrants in the city limits.
