(Minneapolis, MN) -- A lawsuit filed by preservationists is seeking to block the planned demolition of a house built in 1893 in the Wedge area of Minneapolis. Activists are trying to save the house at 24th Street and Colfax Avenue South, using the argument that it's a natural resource under state law. The City Council last week voted to tear down the 19th century house. A hearing is scheduled for Monday before Hennepin County District Judge Marilyn Brown Rosenbaum.
