(Washington, DC) -- Lawmakers are scrutinizing the latest jobs report. Only 74-thousand jobs were added to the economy last month, well below expectations. In a hearing of the Joint Congressional Economic Committee, Minnesota Republican Congressman Erik Paulsen called economic growth "anemic." Erica Groshen , from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, said the report is "not a sign of strength." Taking a broader view, Senator Amy Klobuchar cited 46 consecutive months of private sector job growth. Klobuchar is a Democrat from Minnesota.
