LAPD Take Man In Custody In L.A. "Times" Building Threat

(Los Angeles, CA) -- Los Angeles police have a man in custody after responding to a report of an armed suspect in the L.A. "Times" building. The LAPD said someone in the building received a text advising people to leave due to a person on the third floor who had threatened to begin shooting. One woman reported that a co-worker had shown her a bag of bullets and said he was depressed. No shots were reported fired. The man is not an employee of the newspaper, but works for a business that rents space in the building.
