Judge Strikes Down Idaho's Ban Against Same-Sex Marriage
(Boise, ID) -- A federal judge is striking down Idaho's ban on same-sex marriage. U.S. District Magistrate Candy Dale issued the injunction Tuesday after four gay couples challenged the constitutionality of the state's marriage laws. Her order is scheduled to take effect Friday at 9 a.m. Governor Butch Otter called the court's decision disappointing and vowed to appeal it.
