(Houston, TX) -- A federal judge is putting a pair of Texas executions on hold. U.S. District Judge Vanessa Gilmore issued a temporary injunction today stopping the executions until the state reveals the source of the drug they want to use to put two condemned killers to death. Tommy Sells was scheduled to get a deadly dose of pentobarbital tomorrow. Sells was convicted of the 1999 murder of a 13-year-old girl, and reportedly confessed to many other killings. The execution of Ramiro Hernandez-Llanas, who murdered a rancher, was scheduled for later this month and is also on hold.
