Johnson Wins Republican Nomination For Governor

(St. Paul, MN) -- Governor Mark Dayton now has an opponent for the upcoming November Election. Hennepin County Commissioner Jeff Johnson won the Republican nomination during yesterday's primary, beating out Kurt Zellers, Scott Honour and Marty Seifert. Johnson ran for the office of Minnesota's Attorney General in 2006 only to lose to Lori Swanson. He served in the state House of Representatives from 2001 to 2007.
