Joel McHale To Host White House Correspondents' Dinner
(Washington, DC) -- Joel McHale is going where Conan O'Brien, Jimmy Kimmel and Seth Meyers have gone before him -- to the White House Correspondents' Dinner. The star of NBC's "Community" and E!'s "The Soup" has been tapped to host -- and roast -- this year's annual gathering of media, politicos and celebrities on Saturday, May 3rd in Washington, D.C. White House Correspondents Association president Steven Thomma calls McHale, "sharp, funny, and just the type of comic who can navigate a unique challenge" of the dinner in "making fun of Democrats, Republicans and especially the news media."
