James Brady Dies At Age 73
(Alexandria, VA) -- Former White House Press Secretary James Brady is dead. Current Press Secretary Josh Earnest says Brady revolutionized his job.
A statement from his family says he passed away "after a series of health issues." While serving in the Reagan administration, Brady was shot and left permanently disabled during a 1981 assassination attempt. He went on to become one of the nation's leading supporters of gun control. James Brady was 73 years old.
