(Undated) -- Israel is approving Egypt's plan to end a week of deadly violence between Gaza and Israel. However, The Hamas faction that controls Gaza is holding back on endorsing the ceasefire, saying Egypt hasn't consulted the Islamist group. The armed wing of Hamas said shelling attacks on Israel would "increase in ferocity and intensity." But reports from the region indicate Palestinian shelling slacked off ahead of the proposed start of the truce this morning. More than 180 people have been killed, most of them civilians.
