(Atlanta, GA) -- The IRS is sounding alarm bells over a massive scam that's making the rounds just ahead of the April 15th tax deadline. The Treasury Department says at least 20-thousand fraudulent calls have been reported from nearly every state. Victims are told they owe taxes and must pay by wire transfer or a pre-paid debit card, something the IRS says it will never do. Victims have paid about one-million dollars to the crooks.
