(Minneapolis, MN) -- Work has started on the Interstate 94 expansion project. WCCO reports that Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann and Senator Amy Klobuchar were on hand for a groundbreaking ceremony for the project on Monday. The 28-million dollar project will add two lanes to the highway on a ten-mile stretch between Rogers and St. Michael by late 2015. Officials hope the lane additions will increase traffic capacity and improve traffic flow in the area.
