Iconic Radio Voice Casey Kasem Falls Silent

(Undated) -- Casey Kasem's family is preparing for a Friday memorial to honor the radio icon. Kasem died yesterday after a Los Angeles judge gave his children the okay to withdraw the medication, food and fluids necessary to keep him alive. The decision also ended a bitter family feud over his care. The 82-year-old Kasem had been suffering from Lewy body dementia, a Parkinson's-like condition that left the man with one of radio's most recognizable voices unable to speak. Kasem is survived by his wife, Jean, and four children.
