"Honeymooners" Actress MacRae Dead At 92
(Englewood, NJ) -- The second actress to play Jackie Gleason's on-screen wife in "The Honeymooners" has died. Family members say British-born actress Sheila MacRae, best known for playing Alice Kramden on the 1966 revival of the classic sitcom, passed away Thursday. She was 92. In addition to "The Honeymooners," MacRae also appeared on "The Jackie Gleason Show," "General Hospital," "Caged" and made a TV name for herself with "The Sheila MacRae Show."

Among those mourning MacRae's passing is actress Shirley Jones who called her "a great lady," "a great talent" and her "dearest friend." MacRae reportedly passed away at the Lillian Booth Actors Home in Englewood, New Jersey.
