(Minneapolis, MN) -- A new 322-thousand square foot clinic and specialty center is in the works for the Hennepin County Medical Center for downtown Minneapolis. The county board gave the green light yesterday to spending ten-million dollars to buy the land needed near the main HCMC campus. It's expected the new building will open in 2016. It will include outpatient surgery facilities, primary care clinics and specialty clinics.
