HBO GO Goes Down During "Game Of Thrones" Premiere
(Undated) -- HBO is apologizing to "Game of Thrones" fans after the network's streaming site, HBO GO, crashed during Sunday's season four premiere of the hit fantasy drama. The "Hollywood Reporter" says that subscribers met with a "Fatal error" message when they tried to access the show online. The network attributed the crash to an "overwhelming demand" surrounding the "Game of Thrones" premiere. While the streaming service was down, HBO GO kept fans in the loop via Twitter, but the updates weren't enough to keep viewers from voicing their displeasure on social media. After service was restored, HBO GO thanked "Game of Thrones" fans for their patience.

This isn't the first time HBO GO has had problems during a highly anticipated TV event. Just last month the service crashed during the finale of "True Detective."
