Harold Ramis, Chicago Actor, Writer And Director, Dead At 69

(Chicago, IL) -- Hollywood is mourning the loss of Harold Ramis . The comedy legend died today at the age of 69. The actor and director was best known for his roles in "Ghostbusters" and "Stripes," and for writing and directing comedy classics like "Caddyshack" and Groundhog Day." Ramis' wife Erica Mann told the "Chicago Tribune" her husband died early this morning from complications of a rare disease. "Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane sent his condolences on Twitter, saying Ramis will be sorely missed.
