(St. Paul, MN) -- Middle class Minnesotans and businesses are getting some tax relief. Governor Dayton on Friday signed a bill cutting their taxes by 509-million dollars, and the savings will be immediate during this tax filing season. The Minnesota Department of Revenue is working with tax preparers and online tax services to update their software for an estimated one-point-four million state residents who haven't yet filed. For those who have already filed their taxes, the state will review each return and determine what adjustments and refunds need to be made.
