Governor Perry Tries To Lure NYC Businesses To Texas

(New York, NY) -- Texas Governor Rick Perry is trying to lure New York businesses to the Lone Star State. He says a little friendly competition is good for everyone. Perry was in New York City for two days this week to sell companies on the advantages of opening up shop in Texas. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo's Start-Up New York campaign has run ads in Texas trying to entice businesses to open offices and factories near Empire State college campuses.
Perry challenged Cuomo to a debate on economic policies but New York's governor turned him down.
