(Undated) -- General Motors is now taking applications for its victims fund. The focus will be on victims of accidents related to defective ignition switches in its small cars. GM says it will pay from 20-thousand to several million dollars per claim to cover death and injuries from crashes in which the air bags didn't deploy. The company is promising to make the first payouts from the 400-million dollar fund by November.
