(Fort Bragg, NC) -- An Army general facing prison time for sexual assault is pleading guilty to lesser charges. Brigadier General Jeffrey Sinclair's plea could be entered as soon as tomorrow morning. His lawyer says that under terms of the agreement the U.S. is dropping the sexual assault charges against Sinclair. Two other charges will also be dropped including one that would have forced him to register as a sex offender. The lesser charges include disobeying a commander's order and using demeaning language to refer to female Army officers. Allegations against Sinclair first surfaced in 2012 when he was a top commander in Afghanistan.
