(Washington, DC) -- Gas prices are falling, but they're still at highs for this time of year that haven't been seen since 2008. Triple-A reports the national average price for a gallon of gas is three-dollars-65-cents a gallon. That's two cents lower than last week, but still 18 cents higher than this time last year. The most expensive gas within the lower 48 states was in California, with an average of four-dollars-14-cents.
