(Paris, France) -- Women's top-seed Serena Williams is out of the French Open. The defending champion lost to unseeded Spaniard Garbine Muguruza 6-2, 6-2 in the second round of the grand slam tournament. The four games won in the match are the fewest she has won at the French Open in her career. It was also a tough day for her sister Venus, as she lost in her second round match 2-6, 6-3, 6-4. Had Venus and Serena won their second round match, they would have played each other in the third round.
