Former Bishop Struggles With Memory In Deposition
(Minneapolis, MN) -- Nearly 200 times during a deposition, Archdiocese of St. Louis Archbishop Robert James Carlson said he can't remember details about alleged sexual abuse during his time in the Twin Cities. The transcript of his deposition was released on Monday in connection with a lawsuit against former priest Thomas Adamson, the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis and the diocese of Winona. A victim is suing, alleging church officials kept moving Adamson around as allegations of abuse popped up.
