(San Diego, CA) -- Several fires are still burning across San Diego County as firefighters continue to make headway against the blazes that have scorched more than ten-thousand acres. The focus is being centered on the Cocos fire in San Marcos, California which is at five-percent containment. More than 15-thousand evacuations are still in place for an area including Cal State San Marcos. The largest fire is at Camp Pendelton where the Tomahawk fire has burned more than six-thousand acres. More than two dozen structures have been destroyed or damaged in the fires.
