(Orland, CA) -- Investigators are trying to piece together what may have caused last week's deadly crash between a bus and a big rig in Northern California. The "Sacramento Bee" says the driver of the FedEx big rig, Timothy Evans had a clean driving record with no history of violations. NTSB investigators say they still aren't sure what caused Evans to swerve across the center divide and slam head-on into the northbound bus full of Southern California high school students. Five of the students and three chaperones died, along with Evans and the bus driver.
