Newtown, CT Charities Have Collected $28M

(Newtown, CT) -- This Saturday marks one year since the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting massacre in Newtown, Connecticut and donations have poured in to help the families of those who lost loved ones. Charities have collected 28-million-dollars since the attack last December. The largest fund is the Newtown-Sandy Hook Community Foundation, which has collected over 12-million-dollars, with over seven-million already given to the families of the 26 victims.
