(Oakland, CA) -- The legal fight over a 13-year-old California girl who's been declared brain dead goes to court today. A judge is scheduled to meet with attorneys for Children's Hospital and the teenager's family and has ordered settlement talks get underway. McMath was declared brain dead by three doctors following a tonsillectomy nearly a month ago. The family says New Beginnings Community Center in New York has agreed to take in the girl, but the hospital has not yet commented.
