(Orland, CA) -- At least nine people are reported dead after a charter bus and a FedEx semi-truck collided on a Northern California highway this afternoon. Firefighters arrived on the scene on Interstate-5 in Orland, about 100 miles north of Sacramento to find the bus completely engulfed in flames. The California Highway Patrol said the 46 passengers on the bus were students from Southern California visiting colleges. The CHP says the driver of the semi crossed over the center divider and crashed head on into the bus.
