(Undated) -- The Boy Scouts will start accepting openly gay members today. Under the new membership policy, youths can no longer be barred from the Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts or co-ed venturers program solely on the basis of sexual orientation. The new policy was approved last spring with support from 60 percent of the 14-hundred voting members. Despite the change, the Boy Scouts of America will continue to exclude openly gay adults from leadership positions.
