"Ellen DeGeneres Show" Goes Online In China
(Undated) -- Ellen DeGeneres is saying "Ni Hao" to viewers in China. On Tuesday, Ellen announced that her daytime talk show, "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," will be the first American talk show of its kind to air in China. After greeting her Chinese fans with a "Ni Hao y'all," Ellen explained that the show will stream online at Sohu.com and will feature Chinese subtitles. She also joked that in China the show will be called "The Happy Lady Dance Hour." Now that she's on the air in China, the 55-year-old comedian said her new goal is to learn more Chinese.
Ellen DeGeneres is set to host the 86th Annual Academy Awards on March 2nd. ABC will air the awards ceremony live at 7:00 p.m. Eastern.
